Ajamet State Reserve

The most part of the reserve consists of oak massifs and the age of some trees is more than 250 years. The main inhabitant of the dense forests of the Ajamet reserve is the roe deer. The forests are also rich with several species of mammals, reptiles, amphibians and more than 61 species of birds.

For tourists, it is a great place to study the rare flora and fauna of Georgia. Despite the fact that there are no special hiking trails and stops for camping, the Ajamet State Reserve is a wonderful place to spend a couple of days in the lap of nature.
